Hi, my name is  Inga!

Why did I start with glaciers, but ended up designing experiences?

Growing up on breathtaking Arctic stories I chose to study Physical Geography.

On a Geomorphology field practice on Gotland, Sweden.
Inga majored in glaciers.

I would soon choose to major in Glaciology.

I presented at global conferences and lived across continents earning my portfolio for the polar and marine sciences.

Inga received another grant to study in Japan.

I was awarded the Japanese government grant and a research position at Hokkaido University to research glaciers and ice sheets.

However after a couple of years of pursuing my academic career...

Studying glaciers at Uppsala University main library.

I found myself drawn to the work that had more practical and immediate impact.

So from glaciers

...I transitioned to Media Design

Inga is a Product Designer

I am a Product Designer with experience designing for fast paced environments across media, commerce, and maritime. I've worked at Scandinavia's largest media house improving tools for video journalists and technical producers and currently designing for the Wilhelmsen holding, a global maritime company.

I graduated from a top university in Japan with a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction. During my studies I focused on hardware prototyping, Sonic and Visual media, plus hands on experience teaching frontend and Roblox game development. I bridge design, science and technology, and user needs with ease. Comfortable working across cultures, fluent in 4 languages.
